Be Prepared
The SquawFree team room is located in the Red Dog building across from children’s world, next to the patrol office.

Please make sure you have plenty of warm clothes available and a full belly! Right now, Lake Tahoe is at the coldest it’s been in 50 years, and Saturday looks like a snow day!

Please have all your equipment checked and ready to go.

Insurance policies and our affiliation with Squaw Valley, U.S.A., require all SquawFree athletes be registered with USSA in order to participate in team practice. If your child is not registered with U.S.S.A – they will not be able to participate, and unfortunately will have to be sent home. Register online now at www.ussa.org, it’s quick and easy.

Lockers
If you are interested in renting lockers for the season, please arrive at the locker room at 8:00am, bring a lock, and we will get you in a locker. If you had a locker last season, you still have the first opportunity to get back into the same locker for this season, please contact Jimeel. All lockers will have a form attached, when you choose your locker please fill out the form and leave attached to locker. Please do not remove locker forms from locker.

Lockers rent for $175.00 for the season and are located in the team room. Lockers are big enough for two athletes, so you may share with another teammate and split the costs, if you would like.

One payment only please! Lockers are $175.00 to rent. I do not care how many athletes share a locker, but would like to receive just one payment of $175.00 to the team for the locker rental. Payments for lockers are due the day of rental, after 9:30am.

Please Read!
The first weekend of team practice is very hectic, especially in the mornings. Due to the mass amount of new and excited kids, there will be NO PARENTS ALLOWED in the team room from 8:30am, until 9:30am. Parents will be allowed to come in before 8:30 and help your child get situated in a locker, but please leave the room by 8:30am so we can get team started. The locker room will be closed between 8:45 and 9:30am in order to start up practice. Please, No Parents between 8:30am – 9:30am. I will be back in the team room at 9:30, and will be available to rent lockers, sell gear, take all your payments, and answer all questions you might have for the rest of the day.

Parents please respect this rule, the athletes come first. Once they are on the hill and have started training, I will then open up the team room and take care of everyone, one at a time. So please, just drop your little athlete off, grab a cup coffee, then come on back at 9:30 and I will gladly help everyone out the best I can.

Thank you, and let’s get ready to go skiing!
